At Mariang for Community and Ecosystem Services, a community-led nonprofit, we are committed to the dual mission of protecting and uplifting both people and nature. Through innovative projects and ventures that support the Khasi community and safeguard their surrounding ecosystems, we strive to achieve sustainable and balanced development.
Our Coffee Initiative exemplifies this approach by empowering Khasi farmers across 60 villages in the greater Sylhet region, Bangladesh. By ensuring they receive fair prices for their coffee beans, this project also helps fund vital services, including education, healthcare, youth employment, and the preservation of cultural and environmental heritage.
With over a decade of international community development experience combined with 15 years of local volunteer work, I have been fortunate to cultivate the knowledge and passion that I now dedicate to serving my home and roots. We warmly invite you to join us on this journey to nurture both humanity and nature, making our planet a healthier and more sustainable home for generations to come.
